Location Analytics

In this tutorial, you will gain a basic understanding about the Location Analytics category.

Accessing Location Analytics

Before accessing Location Analytics, you should review the Navigating and Using Analytics tutorial. This will give you an overview of how to set date ranges and segment data into smaller groups than All Patients.

To access Location Analytics, click the arrow under Locations. There are two main sections with additional subsections you can choose from:

  • Patient by Location Found
  • Patient Locations

Patient by Location Found

The Patient by Location Found section shows you where your patients come from during the time frame you indicated. The pie chart displays data from the most common city and state and the data table gives you more details about your patients within each of the cities.

To access more detailed data, you can click on the See Details button of the category you would like to see or click the relevant category from the dropdown menu.

Location / Map View

Under the Location / Map section, you can see where all your animals came from pinpointed on a map. You will see geographic clusters where patients are grouped together, which gives you an overview of their locations, but by clicking on these clusters, you will get a more detailed view of the precise locations.

Patient Locations Section

The analytics in this section specify where your patients are housed within your facility (i.e., specific rooms/wards/enclosures within your clinic, offsite, homecare, etc.). Like the previous section, to access more detailed data, click on the See Details button of the category you would like to see or click the relevant category from the dropdown menu.
