How to Create and Edit Curated Lists

Step 1:

From the dashboard, click on your name in the upper right hand corner and select Organization Profile from the drop down menu.

Step 2:

Choose Curated Lists from the menu on the left hand side.

Step 3:

From here, you will be able to edit three lists. The three lists are: Keywords, Organizations, and Participants. To edit one of these lists, click on the blue button on the far right that says Add Keyword, Add Organization or Add Participant. These buttons will pull up fields for you to complete.

Now we will go into detail about each of these lists:

Keywords List:

The Keywords list will maintain a standard list of words for your team to use to tag stranding events. To edit this list, click on the blue Add Keyword button.

You will be able to type in your word. Once finished, click on the blue Add Keyword button in the lower right hand corner to save your word.

Organizations List:

The Organizations List will create a standard list of organizations to populate autocomplete fields and help your users maintain standardized data.

When you click on Add Organization, you will be able to type in the name of the organization and then will have a drop down menu to select the type of organization. The options within this drop down menu are Necropsy Lead Organization, Post Release Tracking Organization, Expert Organization and Participant Organization.

Once you have added the name of the organization and selected the type of organization, click on the blue Add Organization button to save the information.

Participants List:

The participants list will populate autocomplete fields to help your users maintain standardized data. After clicking on Add Participant, you will be able to type in the name of the participant. You will also be able to choose the organization that they are affiliated with. This list will autopopulate with the organizations that have entered in your Organizations curated list. You will also be able to choose the Types of the participant and your options will be Necropsy Lead, Participant Name or Qualified Expert Name.
