How to Update a Hotline Incident
In this tutorial, you will learn how to update a previously entered hotline incident.
Updating a Hotline Incident
Step 1
Visit https://www.wrmd.org/signin and log into your account using the username and password that you registered with.
Step 2
Click on the Hotline Link in the Quick Links tab.

Step 3
Locate the incident on the Hotline Index Page under the Open tab. If your list is long, you can also click the blue Search Hotline Incident button to search for it. Click on the hyperlinked incident number to open the specific incident you are looking for.

Step 4
On the incident page, you can update or clarify information, continue the communications about the incident, or resolve the incident. Click on the relevant tab to access the fields you need.
- Incident Tab
- Includes the details about the incident. You can clarify the description, make corrections, or update its status.
- Reporting Party
- Includes information about the person reporting the incident.
- Communications Tab
- You can record the continuous communications you are having with the person about the incident.
- Attachments Tab
- You can upload files or photos that someone sends to you about this particular incident, so they remain part of the record. This is only available if your account has the Pro subscription.
- Map
- You can pinpoint locations on a map.

Step 7
Click on the green Update Button on whatever section you've added to

If your incident is currently active, you'll find it listed on the Hotline Index Page under the Open Tab. Once your incident is resolved, it will move to the Resolved Tab. If your incident remains unresolved, you can locate it on the Hotline Index Page under the Unresolved Tab. If the incident has been deleted, it will appear under the Deleted Tab.
