Overview Reports

In this tutorial, you will gain a basic understanding of the Overview Reports.

Accessing Overview Reports

Before accessing the Reporting Section, be sure to review the Navigating and Using Reports tutorial. This will give you an overview of how to access, filter, export, and print your reports.

To access the Report section, click on Reports from the Quick Links toolbar. Under the Standard tab, you can find the category Overview Reports. You will see the following reports in this category.

Daily Summary Report

The Daily Summary Report was designed to give you a snapshot of what happened on a given day. It shows what was admitted, dispositioned, and who was in care on that day.

You can filter this report by date. Exporting options are print or email.  

Patients by Species Per Year

The Patients by species per year report gives you a five-year comparison of the total species that came into care for a given year. You can filter this report by taxonomy. Exporting options are print or email.  

Patients by Location Found Report

The Patients by Location Found report gives you two filters to view the total number of species that came into care by the city, county, or state they were found. Exporting options are print or email.  Use the arrow on the right side to expand the filter options.

Make your selections and click on the green Run Report button.

Dates of First Babies by Year Report

Dates of First Babies by Year report gives you a five-year comparison of the date the first “baby” of the year came into care. Baby refers to any patient that is not Adult, Sub-adult, Juvenile or that has Years in the Initial Exam Age Unit. If the Age is left blank it will not be used. Deselect the taxonomies you do not want to include from the drop-down menu.


Patients Days in Care

This report provides the number of days each patient was in care for all patients admitted during the chosen date range. Use the arrow on the right to expand the filter options.

Deselect the taxa you do not wish to include from the taxonomies drop-down menu. You may select Custom in the Date Range drop-down menu to specify your date range. Click on the green Run Report button.
